We got tired of fake reviews.

Every "best AI tools" list reads the same because most of them are written by people who never opened the software. They copy each other, slap on affiliate links, and move on.

AI Tool Proof is the opposite. Our standard is to actually build automations with the tools we cover — real workflows, real screenshots, real numbers — and until that build is done, every review is clearly labelled research-based vs hands-on tested. We publish the verdict even when it's "skip it."

How we test

• Pick a real use case (e.g. "auto-reply to leads", "summarize sales calls").
• Build it in the tool. Note every wall we hit.
• Score it 0–10 on setup, power, value, and reliability.
• Tell you who it's for — and who should pass.
